SRHR for HIV Testing and Services

Offers confidential and free HIV testing for early detection and treatment, along with comprehensive care and support for individuals living with HIV.

Human Rights Education and Legal Services

Offers free legal counseling and representation for discrimination and human rights issues, conducts educational workshops on LGBTQ rights, and runs public awareness campaigns to educate the broader community about LGBTQ rights and promote inclusivity.

HIV Prevention Services

Provides access to PrEP and PEP medications to prevent HIV infection, and distributes free condoms and lubricants to promote safer sex practices.

STI Treatment

Offers confidential diagnosis and treatment for sexually transmitted infections, along with health education on STI prevention.

Gender-Based Violence Intervention

Provides crisis support and immediate assistance during gender-based violence incidents, helps individuals develop safety plans, and offers legal support to navigate the legal system for protection orders and other remedies.

Mental Health and Psychosocial Support

Provides individual and group counseling, crisis intervention during mental health crises, and peer support groups for mutual support and shared experiences.

Safe Shelter

Offers emergency housing for individuals in crisis and support services including food, counseling, and assistance with finding long-term housing solutions.

When I was at my lowest, HOHSRI was there for me. After my parents found out about my sexual orientation and I was left without a home, HOHSRI provided me with shelter at their safe house. They didn’t just give me a place to stay, they gave me a community, a family. I am forever grateful for their support and the acceptance I found within their walls

We’re proud to have served more than 2,616 clients.

Health Services

HIV Prevention and Treatment We’ve reached 1,523 MSM with prevention messages about safe sex practices and condom use. Our HIV Testing Services (HTS) have served 1,053 individuals, identifying 300 positive cases and enrolling them in care. We’ve also placed 39 individuals on PrEP.

Advocacy and Community Engagement

We’ve made advocacy visits to stakeholders in Lagos to introduce our services, discuss mobilization, and outline mutual benefits. We’ve also held weekly online sessions on mental and sexual health, and social issues
