Who We Are
Who We Are
Happiest Ones Health Support and Rights Initiative (HOHSRI) is a community-based, psychosocial-affirmative, non-profit organization founded in 2020. We exist to strengthen the wellbeing, safety, and dignity of sexual minorities and other vulnerable individuals through mental health support, health services linkage, rights education, and community protection. We are a team of advocates, health professionals, and community organizers committed to building safe, inclusive systems where people can access care, support, and justice without fear.
Our Origins
HOHSRI’s roots trace back to Happiest Ones, a WhatsApp-based community formed in 2014 as a safe space for connection, peer support, and shared resilience. As the community grew and the needs became clearer, HOHSRI emerged as a structured initiative to deliver psychosocial support, community mobilization, and rights protection for sexual minorities and other underserved populations.
Our Vision
To contribute to the improvement of the lives of minorities in Nigeria and towards access to Health Care Services, Rights, Safety and Education.
