Our Story
Happiest Ones Health Support and Rights Initiative (HOHSRI) is a community-based, psychosocial-affirmative organization founded in 2020 to address the psychological and social needs of sexual minorities and other vulnerable individuals. Our roots trace back to Happiest Ones, a humanitarian group chat established in 2014 as a safe space for connection, support, and community building. From a modest beginning, that community evolved into a structured initiative focused on wellbeing, protection, and rights.
Our Vision
To contribute to the improvement of the lives of minorities in Nigeria and towards access to Health Care Services, Rights, Safety and Education.
Our Impact
Since our inception, HOHSRI has supported community wellbeing through outreach, peer support, rights education, and referral pathways. Our activities aim to strengthen belonging, improve access to services, and promote safety for those facing stigma and discrimination. We continue to expand partnerships and community-led programs to deepen and sustain impact.
